Monthly challenges can be great fun. They help us improve our lives one little step at a time. Great changes take little bits of work over time. So I am pleased to bring you a month of ideas to help you improve your Torah parenting skills. I am excited to hone myself during the month of November, and I hope you will join me. Please take a little time to do the project each day and share your experiences with the rest of us each day. Some projects are fun, some are a little more serious. Enjoy!
Day 10 ~ Teach your children a new domestic job.
Whether it be cleaning, baking, fixing the car, or keeping a budget, teach your children the skills they will need for life.
Perhaps cooking is a project you could tackle today with your children. If you would like to take your cooking into a whole new direction focusing on health, this website is a great resource.
We also have some neat cookbooks about challah bread in our bookstore.
What domestic skill did you teach your children today?

Chicken wrangling, ok gathering eggs, sweeping the floor, stitching pillowcases and being active in prayer….she is was up before me today, so she was WAY motivated!
I love that, Andi! I taught Naomi how to double our bread recipe today. That counts for math, too! 🙂
Josiah got a lesson in using the “BIG” vacuum this morning, even before I read your post. What a helper he is becoming! Sarah is helping me straighten up the basement. At only 2 years old she is learning to put up shelving 🙂 (Handing me screws is helping isn’t it?)
Good job, Sarah and Josiah! You keep helping your mommy! Hi Leslie, glad you can comment! 🙂
