“As for me and my house, we will serve YHVH.”

What does that mean?

It means I will love what He loves.

I will do what He says.

I will accept what He brings into my life, and what He takes away.

I will humble myself before Him, for He is far greater than me.

I will admit openly before Him my faults, my sins.

I will sacrifice to build Him up.

I will fall on my face before Him and beg for mercy that I do not deserve.

Then…..

He will show me just how valuable I am to Him.

He will extend mercy to me, beyond anything I could ever hope.

He will lift me up out of the mud of my sin, and help me to do right.

He will continue to love me, for His love is without end.

He will give me life abundant, a life not measured by material possessions.

He will show the beauty and wisdom of His instructions.

He will give me peace and joy.

He will bring me home to the Promised Land.

He will protect me as one of His lambs.

He will give me a purpose, a task, a goal, a hope.

May YHVH be praised!

May we lift Him on high!
