I wasn’t able to give you a full week’s update this week, but I’d like to share a few highlights. 🙂
Can you believe I actually left my house for the first time since December? Yeah, I tend to hibernate in the winter. And now I think I’m coming down with a cold, must be that off property air lol.
I also was given a very exciting opportunity this week! I was asked to do a radio interview! Whoa, me! I’m just a mom living on a dirt road that never leaves her house for months. But YHVH delights in using the unexpected, the out of the way, the willing to be used kind of people. I had a lovely time talking with Scott from WAW radio. I would encourage you to go over and listen to some of his archived interviews. They were a real blessing to me. I particularly enjoyed the interview with David Rives, where they discussed the importance of the seventh day of creation, the Sabbath. When you get to the home page, you can scroll down to find a gray box named archive player, or you can click the tab at the top of the page and listen live. Enjoy!
And stay tuned! I will let you know when my interview will be streamed so you can listen in. I hope it is a blessing to you.
Can you believe Passover is just over the horizon? I have been preparing my heart, partly by spending much more time in Scripture. I have begun reading through the Bible in 90 days chronologically. I am part of a facebook group that encourages each other to keep at it. We just started, so you are most welcome to join in!
My home is not ready for Passover, though. We are told to remove the leaven from our homes in preparation for the feast. This is definitely the time to give the home a good going over. Boy is that a challenge! With six kids, two dogs, and life happening in abundance, it seems like I’m cleaning the same spots over and over. But we will keep striving, keep cleaning, because Israel is made of overcomers! How are you doing in your preparation for Passover? Do you have some crumbs to clean out of the silverware drawer? Or do you have a bad attitude that is hiding in a corner of your heart? Use the next couple of weeks to clean out your heart and your home.
Well, that’s it for now. Have a lovely day!
