This month, as we copy Scripture each day, we will be studying wisdom. You can download your printable below.
Do you have an established routine for copying Scripture each day? If so, I’d love to hear about it. If not, here are some tips.
- Attach your Scripture time to something in your day that always happens. In my house, that would be my morning cup of coffee. This is a great time to pull out my Bible and copy a passage. For you, it may be a quiet time in the evening.
- Keep it simple. I know we all want to study and learn. But, to develop a habit, we need to keep our expectations realistic. On a daily basis, you will probably be more consistent if you only expect yourself to copy the passage. If you are able to do more, great! If not, copying the passage only is also very beneficial.
- Set yourself up for success. Print the verse list at the beginning of the month so you are ready. If you use the printable journal pages as well, make sure you have about 10 copies to get you through the month.
- Another keep it simple tip. I love journals and notebooks and printables. But, in my search for the perfect journal, I’m not as consistent as I should be. My mother put her verse list and journal pages on a clipboard. She did her copywork every single day and transferred her pages to a 3-ring binder at the end of the month. Her simple system kept her consistent.
