Scripture copywork has been a mainstay in our homeschool for years. It is the simplest and easiest way to get Scripture in your children’s minds every day. I give a thorough how-to manual on copywork in this blog post. While many different sources can be used for copywork, such as classic literature, my favorite is still Scripture.

My older students and adult children simply copy verses out of their Bibles into a notebook. But, younger children often struggle to copy between their Bible, which has tiny font, and their notebook. That distance between the Bible and their notebook is causing a disconnect in their brain. If your children are struggling with copywork, this may be the reason. Even my 13-year-old was putting off copywork. He loves listening to the Bible and discussing it, so I didn’t think it was a heart issue. When I asked him about the physical copying, he was having trouble copying straight from his Bible. When I gave him a printed sheet, he did fabulously. As I talk to other mothers, I’m hearing the same thing.

So, I created a solution.

The Monthly Homeschool Scripture Packet is a PDF of about 60 pages worth of Scripture copywork to print and use with your children. No need to search the internet for copywork. This packet of printables is sent to your email every month automatically. I use the World English Bible translation, which uses Yahweh and simple English wording, which is more suitable for children who are still learning how language works.

Each month’s worth of printables includes:

• Sufficient verses to copy for four weeks of school days (20 days)
• Tracing pages with letters your young children can write over. I have included approximately a verse per day.
• Print pages with lines below each verse, approximately a verse per day.
• Manuscript italic pages with lines below each verse, approximately a verse per day.
• Cursive pages with 3-4 verses per day and several lines below the passage.
• Several coloring pages with verses, suitable for posting around the house.
• Fun graphics to make each page more cheerful than just words on a page.
• almost 60 pages of printables for preschool through high school

When you sign up, you will receive your first packet via email. Be sure to open it, download the file, and save it to your computer. You have permission to print as many copies as you need for your family. If another family is interested, please direct them to buy their own subscription as it helps support us and our efforts to bring you helpful resources.

Each month you will be billed $5, and receive the next email with another month’s worth of copywork.
